EYE Lighting endorses the WEEE Directive

As of July 1 2007 any producer, retailer, importer or distributor of electrical and electronic equipment is obliged to conform to the EU Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) Directive.

The Recolight compliance scheme was created to assist users of gas discharge lighting products in meeting the WEEE directive:

It ensures that gas discharge lamps are collected and disposed of effectively.
It provides collection points with purpose-designed containers.
Recolight Advanced Member’s Information System (RAMIS) will help producer members to be ready early for compliance with the directive
